Tracy Chapman - Change ------------------------------------- This is my second entry to  's "Peace" contest (More info here ---> [link])If you've ever seen the music video to this (absolutely, amazing, inspiring song), you'll know that (the absolutely, amazing, inspiring) Tracy Chapman begins by busking in the street - Singing this song. And it just made me think. Of this. "I don't want money.. Just change." Dunno why it made me think that xD. I think it was because in the video, people were just giving her the money and then kept on walking, few were actually listening to the words.. And maybe that's what we do in life. We should pay more attention to what people are saying and doing, rather than just giving them the money and carrying on, happy in the knowledge we've "done our bit" (Which we have, I'm definitely not saying to not give money to charity or anything btw o.O.) Mhmm. ------------------------------------- I'm actually a little annoyed with this picture. I've recently sold my camera (The one I took this with) and I thought I had more time to take these pictures, but I didn't, the person's picking it up tomorrow. So I had to quickly do this in under 10 minutes, just a few seconds walk from my house. And it's really not how I wanted it to turn out. But me being the irritating perfectionist I am, I doubt I'd ever be happy with it. Pshaw. Didn't do much in Photoshop.. Added a light vignette, mucked around with the perspective, added a few filters and a sepia tone, then a border. Yup. *EDIT* Cropped the picture some more, added a little more sepia, distorted the perspective some and changed the light vignette to a dark one ^^ Model; Claire (Little sister xD) Photographer/Editing; Me. Claire's Feet; New Rocks xD (And you can see the steel toe coming off the left one. Yuup.) |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
