I have no idea what the song has to do with the picture, nor what inspired me in the first place. This is my first actual 'dark' piece, so please be gentle xD. The song is mainly because it's what I was listening to as I finished it - And I thought that 'That Day' would be a interesting title ^^.
(The colours have come out different again - They looked much more co-ordinated in Photoshop. Damnit. >.>.)

I know what you mean about the colours.. when I do it on photoshop its just fine.. but when I look at it on other screens the colours are just so awful. But the colours to me look fine, just that, yes I have to moan :D, the angel and the rock dont really.. look right. I don't know how to explain it any better :X
I think this is the best piece of art you've done so far so you are getting much much better. I love the sky and birds.. very well done ^.^

Haha, moan away, s'the only way I'll get any better ^^ I know they don't look right. I wasn't intending on having a rock at all.. But her just sitting in the middle of the sand didn't look.. right either xD. I'll admit to just being lazy and not positioning them properly -Nods-.
Lol, the birds were a pain in the arse to be honest ^^. I didn't wanna use brushes and the stock was beautiful, really. But it was so hard getting them to stand out even a little against that sky =/. Bah.

the fact that she has black wings and they are white feathers, along with her sad pose and the title... makes me think she had a friend, or a love, or something that had white wings... and it was taken tragically. perhaps the sea took her friend, as suggested by the background..

Aw, thank you, that means alot ^^. To be honest, I did try to make the feathers black at first but it.. Just didn't look right.. So I kept them white and tried not to think more about it xD I love your take on it though.. That's actually very fitting. -Nods- I'd like to think that's what happened (In an objective way, I mean xD.. The story's sad, but amazing. Mhmm.)
